1. To ensure the proper overall management of the project in liaison with the Steering Committee to support and enable the participants to achieve the objectives, deliver milestones and complete deliverables.
2. To ensure the consortium completes contractual duties. To establish an External Advisory Group to oversee the project, a Patient Advisory Group and an Ethical Review Group. To advice and guide the participants to comply with the EU regulations and their contractual and legal requirements. To sign official project documents along with a second signatory assigned by the Steering Committee. To administer and distribute the European Commission funds in a timely fashion, to record financial allocations and produce financial reports for the European Commission. To liaise with the Scientific Office in Brussels.
3. To establish an effective communication infrastructure. To oversee and help update the website to advertise the project, the study protocol and data collection tools. To organise annuals meetings of participants and collaborators.
4. To manage the co-ordination of resources and support participants and in particular WP leads to achieve their objectives through effective central project management.
